Good Luck Chuck

Rating: R

Movie Release Date: September 21, 2007

DVD Release Date: January 15, 2008

Plot 411: Every girl Chuck sleeps with ends up marrying the next guy she dates. This isn't a problem until Chuck wants to get serious with a girl.

Review: Chuck (Dane Cook) is a good luck charm for woman. Every girl he has sex with ends up finding and marrying her true love afterwards. The rumor has circulated from friend to friend and Chuck is bombarded with women. His friend Stu (Dan Fogler) encourages him to go with the flow because when will he ever have this chance again. Besides, the good luck charm theory is just a rumor after all . . . or is it? Chuck meets Cam (Jessica Alba) at a wedding and becomes infatuated with her. He wants to get serious but is unsure about the rumor, which has suddenly morphed into a curse. He doesn't want to sleep with Cam if she'll only find happiness with someone else. This movie is juvenile and stupid, and I really don't recommend it. It's filled with coarse humor that is barely even funny. The jokes don't move the plot forward and seem to just fill time. Everyone's talent is wasted in this movie.

Watch It: If you're brain dead or seeking to be once the film is over.

Skip It: At all costs.
