Keeping the Faith

Rating: PG-13

Movie Release Date: April 14, 2000

DVD Release Date: October 17, 2000

Plot 411: A priest and a rabbi fall in love with their childhood friend.

Review: This is definitely an interesting take on the regular romantic comedy since it involves a priest (Ed Norton) and a rabbi (Ben Stiller). Obviously, they are devoted to their religion so the introduction of sexy Jenna Elfman throws them for a loop. With excessive religious puns that get a bit slap-stick, this movie was pretty enjoyable. Much of it is predictable, but that's the chance you take with this genre. 95 percent or more of the time you'll already know what's going to happen. I like to think that's the beauty of this genre.

Watch It: If you like Ben Stiller because he's pretty good in this one. Ed Norton is funny too.

Skip It: If you might get offended by the sacrilegious stuff.
